St Kilda work of art.

I've spent a large part of today looking at sold listings in and around Melbourne. Why not Sydney? No particular reason, I just recall having seen a hell of a lot of very special houses around there these last couple of years and I want to get at them before the listings are taken off the internet for good. So the posts coming up in the near future are going to have a lot of Melbourne area properties in them but I'll try and mix it up with other areas too, especially Sydney.

I wasn't going to make another post today but I saw this one and just had to share it. I figured it might brighten up an otherwise dreary Monday morning.  Not sure who owns/owned this house but the listing says it's been owned by "famous artists, then and now". If anyone knows who owns/owned this property, drop me a comment in the comment space below this post.

I don't like boring, I don't like beige and this house is neither. In fact it's the opposite and it's an utter delight to behold. (click pics to enlarge)

OK yes, as you probably figured out, this was David Bromley's house. Pass me the slow award.
