The Irish real estate market appears to have heated up, especially at the top end. This is quite surprising to me, how the top end has suddenly taken off after languishing since even before the collapse. There was an amazing house near Carrigaline that I wanted to get my hands on. It was massive, had great bones and was in desperate need of renovation. And it sold unbelievably quickly. Ditto an amazing estate near Baltimore. And now Burren House has hit the market. This is a very, very rare friend post so I can say with absolute confidence that the house is as good as it looks and the gardens are absolutely spectacular as are the various outbuildings (gate lodge included). This estate is absolutely worth every penny of the 4.2M euro ask price.
